Regional Advantage

Puerto Rico is a stepping-stone to the markets of the Caribbean and Latin America, bridging the varied English and Spanish-language cultures from north to south.  The Island is halfway between Latin America and the mainland USA, and is the air transportation hub for the region.

The Caribbean Basin and Central/South America have a population base of 440 million people. Vacationers at airports and resorts or traveling via cruise ships add another 50 million exposures per year. CasAmerica reaches 23 island markets and 18 countries in Central America and South America.

San Juan, the capital city, has plans to catapult itself into the leadership role of free trade advocate for the Caribbean and Latin America with the 2006 inauguration of the new 580,000 foot Convention Center and expected establishment of the future Free Trade of the Americas Association (FTAA) headquarters. Additionally, the island government is in the process of building Port of the Americas, the largest transshipment port in the region.

No other location offers a better bridge to the Caribbean and Latin America than San Juan, Puerto Rico.
