Warehouse for Consolidation in Southern Florida
From our Miami Free Zone (MFZ) warehouse, strategically located near the Port of Miami and the Miami International Airport, CasAmerica International offers consolidation services to our many customers throughout the Americas. This allows our customers to order from one pallet to twenty pallets of any given item, or any mix thereof, for consolidation with other items. CasAmerica International utilizes the picking system offered by MFZ, the most electronically advanced foreign-trade zone in the United States.
We are proud of our ability to get our distributors’ shipments to port in as short a time as possible - usually 48 hours or less. An increasing amount of orders are shipped from our warehouse located right here in our MFZ building with the balance drop shipped directly from the manufacturer.
We Handle Shipping Details for our Business Partners
Once our customers’ orders via data import, e-mail, fax, or phone are received in San Juan, we separate the orders requiring consolidation into our state-of-the-art computer system and from that point on, your order is monitored until it reaches its destination.
An invoice and/or packing slip are produced and the order is picked from inventory and packed securely. Labels are produced and the package is sent utilizing the most efficient and cost- effective carrier. Order tracking information is made available after the order has left our warehouse.
Ocean Freight & Documentation
Our innovative system allows us to offer our distributors a wide range of high quality services for their ocean shipping needs. Shipments are booked on vessels sailing directly to the port of destination. Through our group of freight forwarders, we consolidate our distributors’ shipments with other freight going to the same destination. We provide competitive rates carefully chosen among the most reliable steamship lines in the industry.
As soon as the booked vessel sails from port, the shipping company will issue an ocean-going Bill of Lading (BOL) that is available to all of our customers and manufacturers. The BOL contains the name of vessel, the ship date, the ship to party, a description of the merchandise, the seal number and other pertinent information.
